MILEY CYRUS

A few of The Disney Channel's most popular young stars--including Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers, and Selena Gomez--were victims on Friday of  a Youtube hack that led to their pages spelling out offensive messages. When you visited each person's respective page, you received one letter of an obscene phrase. In total eight pages were hacked; Miley's was not connected to the others directly, and instead was left simply with a comment resulting from controversy involving a past picture of the  "Hannah Montana" star that offended many Asian-Americans.

While many of these young stars use these sorts of websites as a means to communicate with their fans, it also leads them to be vulnerable to these sorts of hacks. The pages have all since been restored without any problems.
