Who would Miley Cyrus like to collaborate with?
"Lady Gaga. I love her as a person because she doesn't do what everybody else is doing and that's very important."
Miley said she's going to be part of the We Are the World re-make. "I think everybody who is collaborating on that is really talented."
She added, "I think it's really important that everybody come together because disaster relief isn't just now. It's how we're going to help years from now. We have to restore an entire place. It just can't be one person, one foundation, one group of people. All people have to come together and that's what We Are the World is all about. "
Even her Herve Leger dress is going to Haiti relief, she said. "I'm going to auction it off on eBay afterward for the Red Cross. It's the little things you can do."
Her date for tonight wasn't boyfriend Liam Hemsworth (and for the record, she told Ryan Seacrest she is not engaged). "I promised my mom a date night. I'm only here for a little while."

Miley Cyrus, Mariah Carey and Jon Bon Jovi have joined the list of stars pitching in on "American Idol" judge Simon Cowell's charity single for Haiti relief. According to England's The Sun, the singers will appear on the cover of R.E.M.'s "Everybody Hurts," which will also feature famous Brits Susan Boyle, Leona Lewis and Rod Stewart.
"It's amazing these great singers are clearing their schedules to make this happen," Cowell told the paper, which is helping to organize the single. "I just found out Mariah has changed her schedule to be able to do this too."
"It says such a lot that everyone is working so hard to help Haiti," Cowell told the Sun. "This is something that really matters to us all, and I'm so grateful for the support we are getting."
An unidentified source close to Cowell told the paper that Carey was very eager to pitch in on the all-star project. "Mariah was brilliant, she wanted to help in any way she could," the source said. "Her name gives the single another great boost."
The recording of the song kicked off in London over the weekend with "X Factor" judge Cheryl Cole and British act JLS, whose Oritse Williams lost relatives in the 7.0 earthquake that has so far claimed the lives of at least 150,000. Also expected to record their bits soon are Take That, Michael Bublé, Westlife, Alexandra Burke, James Morrison, Mika and James Blunt. All proceeds will be split between the Sun's Helping Haiti fund and the official Disasters Emergency Committee appeal. It has not yet been announced when the single will be released.
Friday night's all-star "Hope for Haiti Now" event has set a record for funds raised by public giving by a telethon with $58 million and counting. The iTunes album of the music from the show has already hit #1, notching the biggest one-day album pre-order in iTunes history.

Having said goodbye to "Hannah Montana," Miley Cyrus is beefing up her film career. The country superstar already has "The Last Song" in the can for Disney and now she's considering a new independently produced dramedy "L.O.L: Laughing Out Loud." Oh, and none other than Demi Moore may join her.
An English-language remake of the French smash with the same title, "L.O.L." will find Miley as a 15-year-old whose boyfriend dumps her because of her lack of sexual experience. She then sets her sight on his best friend as revenge. At the same time her mother (Moore) is a 40-year-old divorcee struggling to move on with her life. As the title suggests, it also focuses significantly on teens' obsession with texting.
Variety reports the picture will be written and directed by Lisa Azuelos-Asseandrin who was also behind the original version which starred Sophie Marceau and Christa Theret and made more than $20 million in France.
No word on when production might begin or which studios are interested in picking up domestic rights.

Miley Cyrus, Joaquin Phoenix and Liv Tyler are joining their combined superstar forces to work with the suicide-prevention group To Write Love On Her Arms. In a new PSA, Miley teaches Phoenix and Liv how to help the organization secure the organization $1 million to help spread the message.
A very bubbly Miley and a pop culturally unaware Joaquin (Can you believe he's never heard of Miley Cyrus? Us too!) log online to place their votes on the organization's website to help raise the dough. As if seeing the teen queen teach Phoenix how to use the Internet wasn't entertaining enough, she also once again pledges her love for all things Gaga by doing her take on Gaga's "Bad Romance."
Before long, Liv makes her appearance in the PSA and after Joaquin flubs the lesson (Hasn't he ever used the World Wide Web before?) on how to vote, Miley very eagerly steps in and shows Liv how to help. Want to help out yourself? Cast your own vote by midnight tonight for the charity by going to the To Write Love On Her Arms' official site. The money raised will help launch tools for prevention and develop an online community for those dealing with suicidal thoughts or coping with a suicide victim.
